HAWAII

An exceptional mid-range paraglider, the right mix for those who want to extend their piloting skills with a high-performance but stable wing. A simple elliptical shape with amazing performances and maneuverability.

Features of the Hawaii:
The constructor and test-pilots went to great trouble to perfect this paraglider. The first prototype was in the air in the Winter of 94-95, but its performances and some of its characteristics didn't satisfy the constructor's ambitions. Several changes in the wing's profile and geometry achieved the desired synthesis of excellent performances with great stability and absolute security. Getting ready for take-off is truly easy. Unfolding the wing and separating the lines is very quick and simple. Running off or pulling the A-lines, whichever way you choose to start is OK. The canopy fills in smoothly and rises cleanly and stays nicely above you, never in front. Just paraglider is very stable and reacts safely to any of the pilot's moves. Releasing the brakes during a wing collapse will stabilize the wing over your head. The wing's behavior in extreme situations is just like in the flying manual and could serve as an example for the other gliders. The wing keeps its excellent sink rate in circles even in weak thermal conditions and gives the same sensations as high-performance gliders. Coordination of the wing's inclination in circles is impeccable and offers the pilot a great feeling of confidence. For a fast loss of height, use the B-stall, the big ears in combination with the speed-system or a sharp spiral. The slightly thicker material used for the MAC gliders makes it necessary to use a little more strength. After pulling 5 to 10cm, the pull gets lighter. Thanks to its speed system the HAWAII wing has a wide speed range and thus greater flexibility. Landing is child's play. gets
Security:
The experience of the last years is reflected in the overall construction of the HAWAII wing. Like all of MAC products. It has been subjected to a range of demanding tests, and is homologated in the AFNOR Standard category. The wing is not only right for inexperienced pilots, but for all those who want safety and stability as well as excellent performances.
